Before Arriving in Fortaleza, Lufthanza Lunch and view over Sao Paulo, one of the largest urban areas in the world with almost 20 Million people. I had to spend the night there as I missed my connecting flight.

The Beaches of Fortaleza are probably its best feature, and attract lots of rich brazilians from the rest of the country.

The contrast between rich and poor is extremely strong, as here right on the beach where expensive hotels rise up next to the pastures...

Entering the New Year (2006) at Aquaville, a luxury complex of appartments with pools, gardens, and for this occasion a huge stage, open buffet/bar and 3000 drunken brazilians....
